After the temple we had our luncheon. It was awesome and was great to hear stories and words of encouragement from our family and friends. After the luncheon we had our reception in a gorgeous backyard near my mom's house. It was great to be able to share this day with our friends and family. At the end of the day I could not help but think about how lucky I am to have such a wonderful husband and for our amazing friends and family. This was a day I will never forget.

Aug. 8, 2008 was the best day of my life. I married the man that I love and am so excited to spend forever with him. "Infinity and Beyond.." We went through the temple at 8 am, wow 8 better be a lucky number for us. It was such an early morning for me because I had to get my hair done before the temple. Being able to be married to Mike was the best thing that could have happened to me.

The Proposal

After almost 2 1/2 years of dating Mike proposed on May 16, 2008. First he took me out to dinner at Gun Barrel, which is a great steakhouse. After dinner we went back to Mike's house. The house was decorated with rose petals leading in to the kitchen. There were candles and flowers but best of all a Blondie from Applebees. (He sure knows what my weakness is). Then he got down on one knee and proposed. He definetely made the night very romantic and it was amazing to know that I was going to have such an incredible husband.
We quickly started on our wedding plans since we only had 12 weeks before the big day!
